I entered the computer lab as usual. But my walking steps stopped proceeding further when my first eyesight fell on an unfamiliar lady. I instantly thought she was another tutor for this course. At times I wonder if Prof Mazna was really busy that she actually needed 4 tutors? Lucky her!
I headed straight to one of the tables but my movement was disturbed instantly when Joshua greeted the lady but the name "Fenny". I was shocked thinking if Josh and her were friends. I looked at Josh but he sensed no oddness in his greetings. Though I was already seated, I could not take my eyes off the lady. I was still thinking hard who she was.
My suspense was killed when she finally introduced herself to the class. She mentioned that we met her before and she taught us smartboard before. Now only I knew why I could not recognised her. Last time, I did not attend her lecture for one of my course mates, Eliana was sick and I accompanied her to the UM clinic. So, now my course mates might have already know something that both Eliana and I still did not have. Thus, I planned to listen patiently.
The lecture did not go on well for me. The icons were small and at times they were placed at the bottom of the board. This made it impossible for me to see and recognise them for there were so many heads in front of me. I was only seated at the center of the lab. I guess my course mates who sat behind me would be facing something worse. In short, we should have moved forward and sat nearer to the board. I regretted for not doing it. Haih~
To my horror, each group of us needed to come up with an activity using the smart board. Honestly, I was speechless. But having no choice, I moved to my group. I was a little bit ashamed when my team members seemed to discuss so enthutiastically about the activity they wished to do. I could not help but to give ideas. Too many ideas was not always a good idea. Needing to weigh their importances took time. We spent too much time deciding on one until when there was only ten minutes left, we made our decision to teach on numbers. We chose a maths activity for we believed not many groups would think of it. They would most probably create one for an English lesson.
Our group presentation on the activity was good and we received applause from Miss fenny as well as by the tutors. We felt great and of course this could really boost our self confidence in dealing with our next assignment. I could not thank Fenny much for no words could express my gratitude. She really did an excellent job except for the seating. Thanks to her. Really!
